Both Cottesloe State Grade teams had hard fought victories last weekend to secure a place in the Grand Final of this seasons 
premier State-wide inter-club competition.
For the first time in as long as folks can remember we will be hosting both Grand Finals at the Club this Saturday 20th March from 12.45pm when Tennis West will introduce the players.
The Cottesloe Men’s State Grade team finished top of the regular season and will square off against the very capable Hensman Park Tennis Club group who been winners of State Grade for the past 4 years.
The Cottesloe Women’s State Grade team also finished top of the regular season and will be playing against City Beach Tennis Club who have been winners of State Grade in 3 of the last 4 years.
Let’s take full advantage of the home court games and come out in serious numbers to cheer on our fabulously successful State Grade teams in this last challenge of the season!
Tennis West have chipped in to the festivities and there are Tennis Australia Prize packs plus tickets to the next Hopman Cup available to be won – valued in excess of $1000.
The bar will open from 2.30pm with afternoon tea served from 3.30-4pm.
From 6pm – 10pm a post-finals party will be held with Jazz from the Leanard Barker Trio and all members plus guests welcome to attend.
$10- Steak Burger and Beer or Champagne or a $3 sausage sizzle will be available towards the end of play.
It is worth noting that our only other two Pennants semi-finals games were in Womens Div 1 and Womens Div 2 with both teams progressing through to the finals this weekend. Best wishes to the Div 1 and Div 2 women who are playing away from home in their Grand final matches.
