Australia Day Round Robin -Monday 26th Jan 09
December 31st, 2008 by MatthewThis Australia Day morning there will be a Round Robin and each player will be handicapped according to their ability. This means that an average player can win. Prizes will be given for Male and Female winners and most patriotic dressed on the day.
A special Gourmet sausage sizzle brunch will be included with your modest $10 participation investment.
Details are:
- Leave your name, estimated handicap and $10 entry fee with any of the Duty Captains at the Club by Sunday 18th January (latest registration date)
- Arrive by 8.15am for registration
- Games Start at 8.30am
- Round Robin matches finish around 10.30am-11.00am
- Theme: You MUST wear something Australian !

Tournament correction to last e-Update
May 7th, 2008 by MatthewPlease note that there is a delay in preparing the Tournament Draw and thus information will NOT be available on Thursday afternoon as advertised in the last email message.
These are the anticipated release times for the two tournaments: Men’s Singles Draw for Saturday May 10th will be posted at the Clubhouse on Friday May 9th 5:00pm.
The Men’s and Women’s Round Robin Draw for Sunday May 11th will be posted on Saturday May 10th by 5:00pm.
All players on both days need to be at the Club at 12:15pm for a 12:30pm sharp match start.
CTC Round Robin and Men’s Vets Singles Tournament forms now available online!
April 23rd, 2008 by MatthewAll members are encouraged to join in the fun or the Round Robin tournaments staged each year at Cottesloe Tennis Club. Entry is FREE and your application must be submitted by 5pm Friday 2nd May. Prizes will be awarded at the “Awards Night” on Saturday May 17th.
If you would like to be a part of the fun of the Club Round Robin or Vets events then grab your forms online and get them in to the Club Captain before 2nd May! ASAP.
CTC Tournament Winners Oscars Night
April 8th, 2008 by MatthewOn Saturday 17th May – All members and their partners are welcome to “Fling on your Bling” and come mix with the Stars of Cottesloe Tennis Club; as we celebrate the winners of the Club Tournaments and Round Robin events plus dish out a few special Awards.
Food and Drink provided for a modest $30 per ticket, join the list on the Clubhouse notice board. For more information chat with Judi Coffey or one of her social committee organisers for more details.
2008 Junior Club Tournament
February 27th, 2008 by MatthewEntries are now being accepted for the 2008 Junior Club Tournament. The tournament will be conducted on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th March 2008 and Friday 28th, Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th March 2008, with Friday matches being scheduled after school.
