Social Tennis

We offer several opportunities for organised social tennis at Cottesloe Tennis Club all year round:

  • Tuesday mornings:
    9am – 11am (9:30am start in winter)
  • Saturday and Sunday afternoons:
    2pm – 5:30pm (1:30pm start in winter)

Visitors are welcome to attend these social tennis sessions up to 3 times at no charge before becoming a member.

On arrival, all players should check in with the set organiser at the front window to sign up.  There are breaks for morning and afternoon tea/coffee, and all are invited to stay for a drink when the bar opens at 5pm on weekends.

Please be aware that a minimum standard of play is required to participate in weekend or midweek social play.  If the Captain or Midweek Director determines that you do not meet that minimum standard, you will be asked to seek coaching and more practice time before joining into the social play.  For more information about the above social tennis sessions, please contact our Midweek Captain or our Club Captain.

Tennis Competitions

WA Tennis League (Pennants)

Members have the opportunity to participate in the wide range of competition formats offered by Tennis West including singles, doubles, Fast4, and mixed doubles, in open and age-grouped divisions.  The Club caters for the popular night-time competitions with 10 well-lit hard courts available for play. We encourage teams to self-form but will assist players to find the appropriate level of competition for their skill.

Club Tournaments

We hold an annual club tournament in autumn each year with men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles in 3 different playing levels.  We also participate in interclub social competitions during the year with other clubs in the area.
